Rapido Solutions Group Is Turning 6: Six Things You Should Know About Rapido

Six years ago, Rapido was founded with a simple but powerful idea: logistics companies deserved better solutions — and people deserved better opportunities. Over the years, we’ve continued to grow, evolve, and reach new milestones. As we celebrate six years, we’re reflecting on the principles that shaped our journey and continue to drive everything we do.
1. Rapido was built to solve real industry problems.
Rapido’s co-founders, Danny Frisco and Roberto Icaza, first met while working at Coyote Logistics in Chicago. In 2019, Danny was helping build BlueGrace Logistics’ Chicago office, while Roberto was based in Guadalajara, supporting Coyote’s team growth and service expansion in the Mexico market.
Six years ago, they began discussing the challenges they had faced throughout their combined 20 years in the logistics industry — particularly when it came to finding and retaining great talent. They recognized a largely untapped pool of hardworking, highly educated professionals in Mexico, and with that, Rapido Solutions Group was born.
2. People come first.
From the beginning, Danny and Roberto set out to build something different from traditional nearshore and offshore providers. They knew Rapido’s success would be driven by its people — not just the solution.
That meant creating not only a strong partner for US-based logistics companies, but also an exceptional place to work. At Rapido, people truly come first. Our training is comprehensive by design, preparing candidates both technically and from a critical-thinking standpoint so they’re ready to perform — and represent your brand — the way you would.
Every team member completes Logistics 101, a program built by industry experts with more than 20 years of experience. Beyond that, we offer bespoke training, working closely with clients to tailor learning around specific systems, workflows, and expectations. Through ongoing feedback and open communication, we ensure learning never stops — equipping teams with the tools and training they need to grow and succeed long term.
5. Our work is never finished.
We don’t just build your team and walk away. Rapido provides ongoing support and performance management to ensure reps consistently meet expectations and deliver results.
Each client is paired with a dedicated Customer Success Manager who works closely with you to establish clear expectations and KPIs from day one. Through regular check-ins, we review performance, address challenges, and make adjustments as needed. Clients also receive detailed performance reporting — including dashboards, graphs, and rep-level insights — so there’s always full visibility into team performance.
6. We’re just getting started.
