In 2019, Rapido’s co-founder Danny Frisco was working at BlueGrace Logistics, helping build their Chicago office and grow their sales team from three to more than 40 reps. He experienced firsthand the challenge of hiring and retaining great logistics talent. At the same time, our other co-founder Roberto Icaza was living in Guadalajara, helping Coyote Logistics grow their teams and service offerings in the Mexico market.

As CEO and co-founder of Rapido Solutions Group, Danny oversees sales and is responsible for the long-term strategy and vision of the company. Danny began his logistics career in carrier sales at Coyote Logistics after receiving his B.A. in finance from the University of Iowa. Most recently, he served as the senior carrier sales manager of BlueGrace Logistics, where he helped open their Chicago office and grow their sales team from three to more than 40 carrier sales reps. Danny’s experience gave him a deep knowledge of how to recruit and hire within the logistics industry. But it also opened his eyes to the struggles faced by logistics companies regarding hiring and retaining good talent — thus, he was inspired to co-found Rapido Solutions Group.
Roberto serves as the president, COO, and co-founder of Rapido Solutions Group, where he oversees operations in Mexico and is responsible for operational strategy and client service. After earning his B.A. in political science from the University of Michigan, Roberto worked in various roles during his 10 years at Coyote Logistics, including senior manager of Mexico business strategy. In that role, he led and supported the extension of both new and existing Coyote service offerings in the Mexico market and helped open their first Mexican offices in Guadalajara and Monterrey. Roberto made the move to Guadalajara to help manage Coyote’s Mexico growth strategy and restructure the organization and compensation plans — unifying service offerings and taking advantage of best practices. As the son of Nicaraguan immigrants, Roberto’s passion has always been to start a company at the intersection of Latin America and the US.
With an impressive background in the logistics industry, Andrew's experience spans across top companies, including Echo Global Logistics, Uber Freight, and CDL 1000. Andrew holds a B.A. in political science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, showcasing his strong foundation in analytical thinking and strategic decision-making. Andrew's comprehensive understanding of the logistics industry coupled with his strategic mindset, positions him to spearhead the company's expansion and contribute to its continued success.
